Mr. Utter has defended criminal cases involving various charges including:  Assault/Domestic Assault, DUI, Drug Possession, Manufacture and/or Delivery of Controlled Substance, Conspiracy, Robbery, Burglary, Theft, Vandalism, Driving on Revoked License, and Probation Violations.  He has represented clients in both General Sessions, Criminal Court and the Criminal Court of Appeals.

Mr. Utter has represented clients in the following areas: Contested and Uncontested Divorces, Contempt of Court, Child Support, Visitation, Child Custody, and Orders of Protection.
Mr. Utter provides services in the field of Probate. This area of law includes the administration of the estate of a person who has passed away--with or without a Will.  In these cases, representation is provided to the Executor, Executrix or other Personal Representative of the Estate.  Estate Planning and Will preparation services are also made available to those who desire proper planning before the enivitable occurs.

Mr. Utter handles a wide variety of cases ranging from: Insurance Claims/Disputes to Landlord Tenant Disputes, Partnership Disagreements, Breach of Contract Cases, Assault and Battery Suits, Personal Injury Cases, Malicious Prosecution Claims, and Other Areas of Tort Law.

In addition to trial practice, Mr. Utter also provides services drafting contracts, assets purchase agreements, and corporate and limited liability company organization documents.

Finally, should the need arise, Mr. Utter provides representation to clients that wish to appeal an adverse decision from a Tennessee Trial Court, to the state’s Appellate Courts.
